Clay joined Barshop & Oles Company in 2009 and is responsible for the marketing, leasing and development of the retail portfolio. Prior to joining the company, Clay worked for Dallas based retail developers Direct Development and Vista Property Company where he was responsible for project underwriting, site acquisition, entitlements, construction, and marketing of their Central Texas projects.

Clay is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Texas and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Council of Austin. Clay graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor's degree in economics.
