Deborah Hornickel, CPM
Director of Property Management
Deborah is Director of Property and Asset Management and a Partner with Barshop & Oles Company. She joined the company in 1998 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Barshop & Oles owned and managed properties. Her responsibilities include oversight of the physical maintenance of the shopping centers, coordination of tenant retention efforts and financial reporting requirements. Deborah has developed and maintains highly successful working relationships with numerous institutional pension fund advisors such as Invesco Real Estate, LaSalle Investment Management, L & B Realty Advisors and Sarofim Realty Advisors. Prior to joining the company, Deborah worked for Austin's Commercial Industrial Properties, Inc. where she initiated the company's first real estate management division.
Deborah's community and charitable work includes serving as editor of the Seton Medical Center volunteer newsletter and Texas Regional Coordinator for the non-profit preservation organization, The Garden Conservancy. She is a University of Texas graduate and holds the Institute of Real Estate Management's highly regarded Certified Property Manager designation.
