Patrick Oles
President and CEO
Pat Oles is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Barshop & Oles Company, a privately owned Texas based commercial real estate development and management firm. Prior to forming Barshop & Oles Company, Mr. Oles served on the senior staff of the Governor of Texas William P. Clements, Jr., as Director of Governmental Appointments from 1980-1982.
Mr. Oles has been involved in numerous governmental, business and civic organizations, including ten years of service on the Board of Directors of the Lower Colorado River Authority and as a founding member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation. He was a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of JPMorgan Chase, Chairman of the local chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and a Trustee of the Texas Nature Conservancy. Mr. Oles currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Seton Fund and as Chair of the UT Elementary School Development Council. He was educated at the University of Texas Austin, receiving a B.B.A. in Finance and now holds the McCoy Chair for Studies in Entrepreneurship in the McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University.
